Priscilla Presley is facing a $50 million fraud and breach of contract lawsuit from former business partners Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko. They are accusing the 80-year-old Presley of using her celebrity status to damage their reputations and withhold investments, while alleging she falsely claimed ownership of her name and likeness despite selling those rights in 2005. This countersuit follows a year-old legal battle in which Presley accused them of swindling her and exploiting her trust. The new lawsuit also claims Presley and her associate Keya Morgan retaliated with false elder abuse accusations against them following the death of Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie, in order for Priscilla to regain control over the Presley estate and invalidate prior contracts. Presley’s attorney condemned the suit as a baseless, malicious attempt to tarnish an elderly woman’s reputation, while promising a quick dismissal of the claims. (Variety)
