Lackawanna Public Library, 560 Ridge Road. Parking available only in the Memorial Field lot west of the library. Local officials and authors will commemorate the 100th anniversary of our historic Carnegie Library. Connie Porter author of the American Girl Series Addy and Margaret Sullivan, Media Columnist of the Washington Post provide childhood memories of the library. Face painting, balloon artistry, and music with Chris Panfil for children adds to entertainment. Refreshments and beverages available. Be sure to view the displays in the Local History Museum in lower level of library. All are welcome to attend.
